Area Christians Together in Service
Vance Charter School children visited the ACTS house, Tuesday morning, Nov. 25,  at 10 a.m.  Parents, Teachers and 60 students entered the house,
each carrying a bag of Thanksgiving food for Heart's Haven, ACTS shelter for mothers and children of family violence.

Each child made a contract with their parents to do additional chores in order to earn the food they would donate. Instructors helped the students plan the
menu to include all food groups. A turkey, ham, prepared desserts and a large variety of canned goods were placed on the sun room dining tables as the
children entered.
Thanks to the Teachers,
Parents, Friends,
Students
and Supporters of
Vance Charter School
for giving to those
less fortunate in our
community! Thanks for
sharing your children
with the community!
